Help me give my students a calming place to meet their sensory needs.

My Students
Our school serves about 350 students from grades K-2. We are in an economically challenged district, where very recent budget cuts have impacted our district and school. In our school, we were unable to keep a special education classroom that has impacted the number of students on our caseloads, as well as the severity of students we work with.
My students are a very intense group who need frequent downtime or breaks built into their schedules.
They are also very sensory-driven and need those sensory interactions throughout the day to keep them on task, focused, and certain behaviors at bay.
I am hoping to provide them that safe, calming place in my room for when they need these breaks so behaviors will be less of a problem.
My Project
The use of these bean bag chairs and sensory objects will help my students to have a calm, safe place to go when they feel agitated, overwhelmed, or just need a spot for a break to veg out.
Many of my students need sensory breaks built into their day to keep them on task and focused for the academic piece.
It also helps to alleviate any feelings of anxiousness or behaviors that may arise throughout their day. These materials, with having a calm and quiet space in my room, provide the students with opportunities to feel safe, at ease, and regroup.
Many of my students have varying ability levels that range from very high to very low and the types of sensory materials can meet all their needs.
