My Project

This year a colleague and I will be starting an art club for our students after school. We were able to first have an art club two years ago after Covid-19 and our students loved it. Our k-2 students have been asking to join the art club ever since. Our student families were also so thrilled with the art club that they are requesting we start the art club again this school year.

Art club allows our students who love art to explore art-making more after school and build upon the art skills they learn during the school day.

Through the art club, we will also be able to expose our K-2 students to projects and art processes that we cannot do during the school day such as community-based projects like murals and other art projects to beautify our school.

This year, we hope to explore projects that will beautify our school space and expose students to new art-making processes like mosaics, collage art, tie-dye and mixed media art.

We hope through your help, we can once again have an art club for our students this school year!

Mrs. Tart-Bellingeri will only receive her materials if this project is fully funded by January 23.
