My Project

One important lesson that I believe is important to teach to my students is that we all look different, yet we all are special.

Kindness, and equality lessons truly start at home and they continue at school.

We used the About Me Unit to go into detail about how our skin looks different from each other as well as our other physical features. We also talk about how we have common similarities yet we are still different. I want my students to learn kindness towards each other no matter what their skin color looks like. These books will provide a preschool friendly way to do that and still help my students be engaged in the lesson.
