This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My project is set to give students the resources they need to help students succeed. The snap cubes, learning clocks, and manipulatives will help close those achievement gaps they received when covid-19 hit. Students are so far behind after covid-19 and need all the resources and strategies possible for them to understand their topics at hand, learn, and succeed. Many students have not been in a school setting before. They have many things to learn in the social emotional part as well as the academic part. Things like the wobble cushions and sensory items will help student's focus but still manipulate or move if need be. The requested items will be made available directly to the students in the class to help them understand their learning, such as to add with two digit numbers, count to 120, to tell time. Student will also be able to understand place value, learn cvc words, learn to read, and so much more. When they have hands on activities and visuals they have a higher chance of being engaged and learning.
