My students need a place for visual supports and schedules to be posted. Each center requires multiple visual supports to keep classroom rules and procedures at a visual eye level. As we are an ESE Prek, bright colors and friendly displays help our creative minds. Our hands on approach to learning needs a way to be displayed on our walls.
In order to create the fun, educational bulletin boards, teachers need the the bulletin boards to decorate.
Our school is limited on funds to provide bulletin boards for my classroom. Every year we make them out of paper, staples, and our time. With the cost of simple bulletin board supplies, like letters, increasing each year, it's more difficult to create the fun bulletin boards and visual supports even without the boards themselves.
