Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I love having a fun and exciting class. Part of learning is sparking joy and helping students remember how much they love to learn. We read difficult literature and explore heavy themes, but we also play grammar games and recognize leaders who learn and grow. Everyone is a winner, but sometimes it is nice to earn a new pen.
Sparking joy is the first step to learning.
I want to help my students challenge each other to learn more, grow in teams, and celebrate small successes. New pens, fidget squishes, and nice pencils say "You did it! Great job!"
