My Students

My students are a diverse population. We have many varying exceptionalities and many students whose first language isn't English. The students are hard-working, but lack resources to experience technology to help them learn.

A majority of my students only have access to technology during the school day.

Providing more ways for my students to have access to technology will help my students learn how to utilize technology to help them become better learners and more prepared for the jobs of tomorrow.

My Project

The jobs of the future are going to require students to be proficient in coding. Students need to be exposed to multiple ways beginning at an early age. Having a Dash and Dot in our classroom will help students become familiar with coding.

Exposing my students to STEM through play with these robots will enhance their critical thinking skills in math, science, and engineering.

Students will be able to help each other expand their knowledge of coding and utilizing STEM concepts through play. Providing my students the ability to be exposed through play will help my students be better prepared for the jobs of the future.
