My Students
My first graders come to school full of energy and ready to conquer the world. My job is to keep them motivated and to develop critical thinkers. Each child learns differently, and part of my job is to find out how to reach them. Some are visual learners, some are auditory learners, and some learn by hands-on activities.
We need to figure out how to reach all learners.
My students are sweet and eager to learn. They are motivated and want to be successful students. They just need the opportunity.
My Project
I am amazed at our Veteran's Day celebration at my school. It is amazing. We welcomed vets from as far back as World War II. As they were announced, every single student waved an American flag. We sang patriotic songs and kept waving our flags. Yes, I did get teary eyed. The flags were old and ragged but we waved them proudly.
I am asking for American made American flags to replace the ones that are badly worn.
Our students need to wave our flags proudly so our vets can see and be proud of their service to our country.
