This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Watercolors are a relaxing and fun way to wash away our worries.

Watching the colorful pigments float and move across the paper after they are applied with a brush is a creative and stress-relieving way to ease young minds, stimulate self-expression and discover their untapped creativity.

I have surveyed students and they repeatedly ask to use watercolors more often. We use watercolors to use wash techniques for multi-level negative space paintings, landscapes and portraits.

Please support our studio and our students’ mental healthy, by providing the watercolor pigments we need to mix and paint.
