Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students work very hard learning to read and write in 2 languages. With so much pressure to perform well on tests and writing samples, the students also love to create masterpieces. I have purchased many art supplies from my own pocketbook, and it is honestly hard to keep up with the demand.

My students could use a boost of art to discover their creative side of life.

I know, as they learn more about art and how to create, it will help keep them away from the computer screens and learning more about design and construction to represent an idea to complement their lessons.

We are requesting funds to pay for sets of watercolor paints that the students can share, a few sizes of special watercolor paper, and even my favorite watercolor sets of glitter and metallic paints. Thank you for your consideration.
