Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

When children are hungry, their stomach has their full attention, not the learning going on in the classroom. I am asking you to help me supply my classroom with snacks I can provide my students when they get hungry so they can focus on the learning and not worry about how or when they can get food.

When a child's basic necessary needs are met, they can open their minds to other aspects of what is going on around them.

I have a hot water kettle in my room for the noodles and I can purchase bread for the peanut butter and jelly for when students forget their lunch or do not have the money that day. The other snacks are easily accessible to munch on while my students engage in the learning process during class.

The small pencil bags and feminine products are for my female students when accidents happen. The bags allow the students to descretely grab and go to the bathroom without advertising what they need.
