This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Many students enjoy watering the vegetables in our school-garden. One of our most important lessons is which plants need lots of water and which plants do not.
By providing us with updated supplies to optimize watering in our school-garden, students learn how to think about the water supply for the vegetables and how to water them most efficiently.
Some of my lessons include how to install the various watering systems, how to read and set a timer and how to read a weather report in order to plan a watering schedule.
