This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Special Education students in my middle school incidence cluster classroom have the last lunch period. This is an adjustment after summer break, and especially to my sixth grade students who are used to an earlier lunch. The water bottles will be given to each student to leave at their desk, and take to gym class. They will be able to refill the bottles at the water fountain near our classroom. The snacks will be kept in storage boxes, and stored in the classroom cabinet. Students will be able to take the boxed cereal and bars if they arrive late, and did not get a breakfast. The other snacks such as the Goldfish, chips and popcorn are favorites of current students. Students will be able to select a snack if they are hungry and need energy before lunch time.
Please help me provide my super students with water bottles and snacks for this school year!
