My Project
We teach a group of amazing, curious, and hardworking general and special education students in first grade. About sixty percent of our students have a range of disabilities, some of which include learning disabilities, physical disabilities, emotional disturbances, speech and language impairments, and Autism Spectrum Disorder. Like any other class, our students' abilities and interests range across a wide spectrum. All of our students require individual or small group attention. Each day, we incorporate all of their learning styles, interests, and special education accommodations into our lessons. Some of our students prefer visual or auditory cues for learning, while some require a more kinesthetic or tactile approach. Our students come into our classroom each day with a love of school and a desire to grow as a learner.
We would absolutely love to be able to provide each student with a personalized water bottle.
This year, our school was lucky enough to obtain new water fountains that have a built-in sensor for water bottle refill. Giving our students water bottles will not only allow them to hydrate during the school day but also promote environmental awareness.
We will use our Circut to customize each water bottle with our students' names to prevent anybody losing their gift.
