My Project
We have several water machines in our school, but students have nothing to put the water in as cups are in short supply and go quickly. As a result, students either go thirsty, or go from office to office trying to find a spare cup. They lose valuable instruction time and usually have no luck finding a paper cup. They are also forced to remain underhydrated.
I would like to provide each student with a reusable water bottle so they can stay hydrated and in class.
Students who have their basic needs met, as proven by psychologist Abraham Maslow, perform better when their basic survival needs are met. They are able to focus on their lessons as opposed to their biological needs. There's a bonus benefit to the environment, too, which is always a plus.
