This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

If this project gets funded, it would allow my student's the opportunity to have and see a real life lesson. The goal is to have a lesson designed for students to learn the life cycle of different animals. The items in this project (incubator, egg turner, bedding) would allow students to see, in real life, the eggs in the different stages of hatching.

My students this year, do not have a lot of experience with animals.

Most come from homes where both parents work long hours and they are often with elderly grandparents or siblings. By doing fun lessons, such as this one, we are able to show them aspects of science and animals, they may not be exposed to.
