My Students

My students are amazing, inquisitive, curious little learners. They are 3, 4 and 5 year old developmentally delayed kiddos who love to come to school everyday!

They are sweet, loving and need so much more to enlighten their never ending drive to LEARN!

They love school so much they don't even want to go home at the end of the day.

They are my biggest joy and I love seeing them and being with them everyday. They are my happy place and I want to give them what they need to learn and succeed.

My Project

My students need the Learning Alive Suite in order to help them learn beginning math and alphabet skills. The use of my interactive whiteboard system will allow me to continue to increase student involvement in many of the videos we use to help them to learn.

Learning Alive is a cross-curricular augmented reality program that appeals to a variety of learning styles, including visual, auditory and tactile, by incorporating science, social studies, geography and more into reading and math.

This technology is used to bring 3D into the classroom. The letter H becomes a horse which can run across the screen. Many of my students learn best through visual and auditory skills. These materials will allow them to do so in a new and wonderful way!
