My Project
For years now, I have been crooning about saving the planet by reusing things that we normally throw away. My Science Enrichment students have been listening, and they are now ready for action!
This Mantis composter allows my students a secure space to collect compostable waste, and a safe mechanism to rotate compost regularly.
As a community, students, parents, teachers, and supporters of our school will be able to collect food and garden waste at home, gather this material in the Mantis composter at school, and observe the composting process in real time.
