This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Students will engage in hands-on workstation activities that blend English Language Arts and social studies.

Through these activities, such as vocabulary exploration, discussion circles, character analysis, and creative writing, students will deepen their understanding of history and philosophy.

Creating timelines and participating in discussion circles will enhance their comprehension and critical thinking skills. Additionally, reenacting historical events and writing from the perspective of Valley Forge soldiers will foster empathy and a deeper connection to the past. This approach will not only bring history to life but also significantly improve students' reading and analytical abilities.
