This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

In this project I am asking for a washer. The school could use this washer in many ways. This washer will benefit the athletic department because we can use it to clean uniforms at our facility. Clean uniforms are important to combating skin disease. After each tournament and at the end of every season we currently have to collect and take home all the uniforms and clean them at home using our personal equipment. A new washer would also allow us to make sure kids are not using dirty workout clothes during practice because not all kids have the support system at home that is needed to make sure they always have clean clothes. This washer will benefit both the athletic department and the whole student body.

Whenever there's a situation with a student we can wash their clothes at school.

There has been many instances where a student could walk in with dirty clothes or may have an accident throughout the day and this is where the washer can help out. The washer can help wash the clothes, which can take away little stress that may keep students from being able to focus in school or come to school at all.
