This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
As the colder weather settles in, many of our bilingual students face the added challenge of not having the warm clothing they need to stay comfortable throughout the school day. For these students, many of whom come from diverse backgrounds, it's especially important that they feel secure and confident, both in the classroom and on their way to school.
This project aims to provide every bilingual student in our class with a warm jacket and cozy beanie to protect them from the chilly temperatures.
By ensuring that each child has the proper outerwear, we can eliminate the distraction of being cold and help them focus on what matters most—learning, socializing, and growing.
These jackets and beanies will allow our students to stay comfortable during outdoor play, recess, and travel to and from school, ensuring they are prepared for the weather while feeling included and supported. Your generous contribution will make a meaningful difference in their lives, allowing them to engage fully in their education and feel cared for, no matter where they come from or what language they speak.
