This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

We want to help students who suffer from food insecurities and anxiety. A lot of our students struggle financially and have families that struggle to put food on the table. Having snacks in our classroom available to them for free can help them make sure they eat so they can focus on their school work. We want students to also get mental health support in regards to students who struggle with anxiety. A lot of our students are anxious and struggle with mental health. We would love to give fidget toys to students who needs something to help keep them focused.
