My Project
Many of my vivacious, energetic students walk to and from school every day. Living in a cold midwestern city, this trek becomes almost unbearable in the winter, and many of students are unprepared or underdressed for the weather.
Your generosity will allow me to ensure that each of my students has access to a warm hat, gloves, and a scarf, and to be sure that the struggles a parent might be facing doesn't mean that a child has to be cold.
By meeting the basic needs of my students first, I can turn my attention to their academic needs and make sure they have the time, energy, and ability to use their time in school to grow and learn.
