Help me give my students a nice warm place to sit on during the cold months here in New York and provide them with the opportunity to practice the concepts of place value with these wipe boards.
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
The specific items I requested would make a difference since our classroom does not have carpets for our children to sit on. It will help keep our little learners warm in the winter months but it will also help create a warm classroom environment.
Our students will be learning in small groups and they will need a nice and warm place to sit so that they do not get cold, especially during the cold months.
It will also add some loving into the classroom.
Our students are visual hands on learners and these math wipe boards will be a fun and engaging way for them to learn. Now that we have entered winter many of the students are getting sick. The wipes will help us sanitize the room and desks at the end of each day to assist in not spreading germs.
