Warm Recess Clothes

Help me give my students boots and snow pants for a warm and enjoyable recess during the cold winter.

My Project

My students come from a wide variety of backgrounds and home lives. They come to school to be safe, warm, have fun, and learn.

My students need gloves and snow gear to help them stay warm in the winter during recess.

Many students in my class do not come with recess clothes during the cold months. We are in Alaska and it can be very cold during the long 9 months of winter. My students will be playing outside in weather up to -9 degrees. Playing in these temperatures without temperatures winter gear can be dangerous.

These items will help them stay warm during those cold months during recess which is needed to get their energy out and be successful in the classroom.
