My Project
I work with an incredible group of second graders in an inner-city school district. Most of my students come from financially challenged homes and 100% of our students receive free lunches. This is important because they will not have access to breakfast and lunch when we are off from school for ten days.
I am trying to provide my students hats and gloves to keep them warm on the outside and healthy snacks to keep them warm on the inside over the winter break.
Times are tough, especially around the holidays! I want items that will keep my students happy and healthy as they ring in the new year. Please help ease my mind about my students' well-being while we are apart enjoying our families.
