Warm Boots for Little Feet

My Students

I am excited to be providing educational experiences to at-risk four and five-year-old children in a free pre-kindergarten classroom. These kiddos are creative, curious, and eager to learn. Many of our students are overcoming odds, as all of our students come from low-income households and many come from traumatic backgrounds.

We strive to provide opportunities that our at-risk students may not otherwise have or be able to enjoy.

We are eager to create life-long learners through thoughtful instruction and materials, both in our indoor and outdoor classrooms.

My Project

Winter in Michigan is c-o-l-d! Even though it's cold outside, we still l-o-v-e going outside to play! But, we're not able to go outside for very long when our little friends do not have the correct gear to keep them warm. On top of that, our little friends are stuck wearing their wet shoes for the rest of the day, making them cold all day long.

Help our at-risk friends enjoy playing outside even more, by giving them winter boots to keep their feet warm and dry while we explore nature in the cold Michigan winter.
