This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I'm so excited to make the transition to flexible seating. I want to continue to add furniture pieces to my classroom. It allows my middle school students to make independent choices that work best for their learning. The majority of my students are from low income households, for some of them its the first time they are given the opportunity to choose a seating area.
Help me give my students a warm and inviting classroom that includes lounge chairs, rugs, floor pillows, and warm lighting.
By providing alternative seating options students will take charge of their learning and academic progress. I believe that by creating a safe, comfortable, and inviting classroom students will be able to focus and feel cared for. I would also love a chance to purchase lesson plans on tpt to create an environment full of creative projects.
