Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students are elementary life skills special education program in a low income school. My student love all things slime, hands on projects, sonic the hedgehog, and to read books with their peers. They range from kindergarten to 3rd grade.

My Project

These supplies will help create a more accessible and warm learning environment for the students. The supplies will also help purchase materials for the students learning for next year. Each student has an individualized learning plan that needs to be met.

The supplies will be placed on the students desks in clear containers for them to access easily and share.

The rugs and foam squares will allow the students comfortable places to sit as well as allow for place that the students on wheel chairs can spend time on their stomach or back.
