My Project

Our student-run library needs a more reliable and efficient way to track book checkouts and returns.

Providing Chromebooks for student librarians would allow our students to manage the library more effectively, reducing errors and saving time.

Chromebooks would let students record checkouts and returns instantly using a library management system. This would make it simple to see which books are available, borrowed, or overdue.

Managing library data digitally gives students hands-on experience with technology, organization, and collaboration. It will also allow multiple students to update and view records at once. They will be able to catalog all books helping the library stay organized even as library members rotate.

The Chromebooks could also be used to design flyers, posters, and announcements for library programs and school events, helping build excitement around reading and student activities.

Adding Chromebooks to the student-run library would make our book system more accurate, efficient, and engaging. It’s a practical upgrade that also supports creativity, responsibility, and school literacy.
