My students need technology in the classroom to enhance their learning. We are in need of a projector and stand to help us in our day to day learning.

My Students
"Gather round class!" I encourage, as I sit in the middle of a huddled mass of students trying to show 33 kids how to edit a paper, how to do origami, or to show them an amazing picture in a book.
I am the lucky teacher of 33 vibrant and enthusiastic students who love reading, writing, and doing art in the lovely area of Northern California.
We are an inclusive classroom with children who have a wide array of learning styles and abilities. We come in each day prepared to learn and share all the wonderful things that are bubbling in our minds. We have students who hail from all over the world. From India to Mexico to China, many of them having English as their second language.
My Project
Having a projector in the classroom will allow us to display many things that would otherwise be difficult to show. Having minimal resources, it would allow us to edit papers with students in real time, show the intricate folds of origami, or bring the beautiful pictures in a book to "wall" size! That is only a small smattering of things we can do if we were able to project. We could walk around the room allowing the children to display all their hard work and having it be, literally, larger than life!!
By having this type of technology in our classroom, students will have the ability to show off all of our kids' work without compromise.
It will give us the ability to demonstrate and teach with each child feeling they have the best seat in the house.
