An iPad is a dynamic, innovative and highly creative tool that would truly offer my students so many exciting learning opportunities for exploring and creating Art. An iPad, at the forefront of learning, would provide my students with current, up to date and endless digital Art opportunities.
As an Art educator I teach over 400 students the importance of the Visual Arts.
My students are eager, bright, creative and technologically advanced, yes, students who are learning in the 21st century. Each and every day I truly feel so fortunate that I teach in a district with such wonderful students who truly love coming to art each day! They walk into my classroom with big smiles on their faces and ask 'What are we doing today in Art, Mrs. K'! They love exploring the Arts with various media and an iPad would bring a new excitement and creative element to their Art education.
From utilizing various drawing apps, to virtually traveling to an art museum, the iPad would offer my student so many Art opportunities, both in small and large group instruction.
My Project
The Arts offer such a broad range of learning, as my students see how ART truly connects to various curriculum, to life and to our society. Our students are 21st century learners who we know are quick learners when it comes to our digital age. We are asking for one iPad and a bright red cover to begin our journey with exploring the digital world with the #1 item our students want! Yes, an iPad! It is so innovative, so now, and I want to teach my students the multitude of learning that can occur with it and I'm sure my students will in turn teach me many new learning experiences as well!
