This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
Technology and our children are the future! We need to take advantage of their interest in technology to enhance their learning.
Our school is a public school located in a low socioeconomic area.
All of my students receive free school lunch. My first grade students are English Language Learners and come from Spanish speaking homes. They are bright, curious, full of energy, and enthusiastic about learning. Like all kids, they show a tremendous interest in technology.
My Project
A laptop will provide endless options to meet diverse needs while engaging them in meaningful learning. The laptop will be set up as a small individualized center for students to review and practice lessons provided by the reading program (California Treasures) and for our math program (enVision).
A laptop will make a world of difference in my students.
It will motivate them and enhance their learning of grade level skills. Your donation will have a long-lasting impact because technology is an important resource for student achievement.
