At my school, we believe that every student can "SOAR." Our students come to school every day ready to learn and outdo what they have done the day before. We set goals in each of the content areas which our students aim to achieve.
This is not easy in a low income, Title l school, where 100% of our students receive free breakfast and lunch.
Despite the many challenges that our students face, they are always ready and excited to learn.
My Project
My students need a printer and replacement toner cartridges to print their published writing pieces. Having a printer in our classroom will allow the students to see their published work right away.
A multifunction printer will provide the students with the technology to scan and copy images to enhance their finished pieces.
Having a working printer in the classroom, will also allow the students who struggle with writing by hand, to type up their writing pieces, and edit their work on the piece they have printed. The students will be able make any changes to their writing on the computer, press print, and publish their work.
