Our board is up and running with great flipcharts and challenging questions but we can't use our activotes without a hub. We have a complete set but are wandering around lost without any hub. We love the board and want to expand our usage and the teacher wants to monitor our progress.
I teach at a high poverty school in a large urban city.
The students love the interactive board and are very skilled at its usage. These students do not have computers to use at home and access websites through Promethean Planet and Discovery in class. Many of the students are inclusion students who need hands-on activities to grasp concepts. These children have little to look forward to but love the Promethean board and the power they have to show their knowledge in a new technological medium. I want my students to have the same access to technology as other schools have.
My Project
Our wandering around will be ended if we can access our activotes. This technology allows students to individually answer questions on a topic and the teacher the opportunity to see who has the concept and who does not. This technology is available to us only if we have the tools to unlock its mysteries. We need the hub to run the voting system.
My students deserve the chance to explore more technology and develop skills as they learn.
What an excellent chance to make a difference in a child's life. Open the doorway for this group of children and future classes as well. The hub and wand will enable us to reach for new heights and expand our world. Please help us!
