This year I got a second Spanish teacher and she was asking for an Occulus and told me what she does with it so I want one too!
We will use the Occulus to visit foreign countries in our Spanish Classroom.
We can see La Sagrada Familia in Barcelona, Teotihuacan in Mexico, or even Machu Picchu in Peru, and much more. Since Covid, students have not had opportunities to see perspectives from other countries. Using an Occulus, we can correct this and inspire our students to explore their world and see that there is much more to see than just this hometown.
The noise-canceling headphones with assist students in practicing their listening skills in Spanish.
Students struggle with having opportunities to practice their foreign language, and this will go so far in allowing them to get used to dialects within the target language.
More than half of students from low‑income households
