My Project

We serve students with developmental disabilities in a high school setting. Our students have complex needs. We are working to create a sensory rich learning environment with a wide variety of engaging activities. This wall panel will help increase the amount of sensory stimulation we are able to offer.

On a recent field trip to a sensory rich environment we noticed students independently taking initiative who generally do not.

Having the items we chose and this kind of environment will help them engage within our school setting, create friendships and learn indepence. We are enthusiastic as educators to provide an environment for students to grow and thrive.
