Walking Pad Treadmill to Improve Health and Focus

My Project

I have recently purchased a standing desk and would love to provide a walking treadmill for my students in order to help them not only improve physical health, but help them focus on tasks while being able to move!

I work with students who have Autism, ADHD and Specific Learning Disabilities and I feel this would help them focus on tasks while giving them an outlet for movement.

Research has shown that the use of standing desks and walking pads have positively impacted students with disabilities by encouraging movement and reducing fidgeting, which can improve focus and attention. Mayo Clinic studies have found that workstations can improve cognitive functioning.
