Walk Around the Room

Help me give my students a print-rich environment with easel pads and felt tip pens that we will use to make anchor charts, so that my students can use the classroom aesthetics as a learning tool.

My Students

My inner-city students come from various backgrounds, and English is not always their native language. We are a Title I school where all of our students receive free breakfast and lunch.

The children in my class come to school wanting to learn and work hard because school is a safe place for them.

It is also one of their most favorite places to be. My students are often at a disadvantage due to the lack of supplies provided by the district.

My Project

I love using anchor charts in the classroom as a resource for students to use once the lesson is completed. The students use the anchor charts on a daily basis during reader and writer's workshops.

The easel pads and felt tip pens will be extremely helpful for my visual learners and will provide a comfortable learning environment for my students.

My struggling students will not need to feel at a disadvantage because they are not able to remember the lessons. The classroom will be used as a teaching tool for all students at my school.
