This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I am a special education teacher in an intensive support prek classroom. My classroom is made up of wonderful little eager learners that experience mobility issues caused by physical and visual disabilities. We are requesting a wagon to safely transport our amazing learners around our school campus. This specific wagon accommodates up to 4 students and has built in harness seatbelts to keep our students safe and secure.
We will utilize this wagon to keep our students safe while navigating through the school building, during field trips, and emergency drills.
This project will help our students attend field trips safely, participate in school emergency drills easily, and allow more time for nature walks around our school community.
Our students are very intelligent, sweet, caring, and so much fun to be around. Their smiles brighten up my day and I want them to always reach for the stars.
