it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Field trips are some of the most exciting and enriching days of the school year, but organizing, transporting, and storing hundreds of student lunches for multiple classrooms can be a logistical challenge. To support our growing needs during grade-level field trips, we are requesting three collapsible wagons and a set of durable storage bins. These tools will help our staff efficiently move and safeguard lunches and student belongings for up to three classrooms at a time. The wagons collapse for easy storage and transport, making them ideal for both local and larger excursions.
This project will directly benefit our students by ensuring smoother, safer, and more organized field trip experiences.
With up to 90 students participating in a single grade-level trip, proper food storage and transport are essential to prevent lost, crushed, or misplaced lunches. These wagons and bins will ensure all meals remain secure, clean, and accessible throughout the day. Students will also gain peace of mind knowing their personal items and meals are cared for, allowing them to focus on learning and exploration without unnecessary worry. Additionally, this equipment will reduce the physical burden on staff and parent chaperones, allowing more energy to be directed toward student supervision and engagement. Beyond field trips, the wagons can also be used schoolwide for events, distributing materials, or emergency needs.
