My Project

Middle school is a crucial time for students to develop a strong foundation in historical understanding. However, traditional teaching methods often struggle to captivate students' attention and immerse them in the past. With the Oculus Quest 2, we aim to transform history lessons into dynamic, interactive experiences that resonate with students of diverse learning styles and backgrounds.

I want my students to walk through ancient civilizations and witness historical landmarks in 3D, participate in virtual reenactments of pivotal moments in history, such as the American Revolution or the Civil Rights Movement, and engage in interactive simulations that promote critical thinking and problem-solving skills.

Introducing VR technology in our history classroom offers numerous benefits to student learning, including:
