My Project
Imagine if students could explore the inside of a volcano, walk through ancient Rome, or dive deep into the ocean—all without leaving the classroom. With the power of virtual reality (VR), this dream can become a reality.
I am requesting 5 educational VR STEAM sets that include headsets, to create immersive learning experiences for my students.
These project materials, stored in the requested bins, will allow students to experience the concepts we study, not just read about them.
My students are curious, creative, and eager to learn. Many come from low-income households and have limited access to technology outside of school. They thrive when learning is hands-on, visual, and interactive. VR will give them access to places and experiences they would otherwise never encounter.
We're requesting VR steam sets that allow students to explore the world through our classroom and encourage to take learning to new heights. We will be able to:
-Travel the world in geography and history lessons
-Explore ecosystems, planets, and the human body in science
-Practice empathy through social-emotional VR scenarios
-Be inspired by real-world careers in engineering, health, and space exploration
This immersive technology promotes engagement, retention, and excitement for learning across subjects. It also builds 21st-century skills in tech literacy, curiosity, and global awareness.
