Help me give my students the opportunity to use these tools to help them understand surface area and volume.
FULLY FUNDED! Ms. Lippert's classroom raised $179

My Project
My goal is to make math and geometry more concrete and engaging to students. We will use the allergy friendly modeling clay to make 3D shapes and cut them apart to understand the surface area of a cut shape. This also helps with understanding how a cross-section of a 3-D shape looks.
Students can use the magnetic tiles to decompose the shape and be identify how to understand draw it.
These tools will be used with my 6th and 7th grade math students. This helps with kinesthetic learning and allows me to teach math in a more engaging manner.
Nearly all students from low‑income households
