My Students
My students come from low-income families, but they love being physically active when they are in school. Due to this new time with the COVID 19 virus I am trying to have our students be successful in learning all kinds of different activities such as football, basketball, soccer, hockey, pickleball, badminton and many more. The problem the we are running into with the pandemic. Our students are not allowed to share equipment they need to be socially distancing and have minimal contact with each other.
My students are a great group of kids love learning new activities and participating in gym class.
This is why I am trying to introduce them the equipment they deserve. So the students need individualized for all the students to participate the whole class. This will help them improve their skills and hopefully have them fall in love with different activities to be active for the rest of their lives.
My Project
The soft volleyballs are meant for my students to use in class so it's easier for them to learn the game in my class and not have their forearms hurt. I want them to learn new activities in my class so the will have other things to do besides basketball and football that most of them know how to play I love teaching them new activities in my class and give them new opportunities for high school and possibility high school. I just want them to be introduced to new things and these soft volleyballs will be great for introducing volleyball as a lead up to the real game of volleyball.
