Volleyball - Hit Me With Your Best Shot!

Help me give my students the opportunity to participate in Volleyball. The equipment will give our students the chance to learn a sport they can play for the rest of their lives.

My Project

The Volleyball equipment will provide our students with the opportunity to learn a lifetime sport and engage in their learning. Students will be able to be active and socialize with their peers while playing a sport that so many love. In today's world, it is so important to have our students put down their phones and move! The equipment we have selected will provide students with Volleyball's to use and nets to create a real court setting. Students will be able to discover a new sport that has become so popular in our society.

The Volleyball equipment will give our students the opportunity to learn a new sport they can play for the rest of their lives.

The Volleyball equipment will be used for years to come. Approximately 1,000 students will come through our school doors every two years. This equipment will reach all of our students who attend our school.

Our student population is extremely diverse. 21.2 percent of our students are students with disabilities, 21.7 percent of our students are English Language learners, 60.9 percent of our students English is not their first language, 76.4 percent of our students are high needs, and 62.2 percent of our students are low income. We have students with disabilities, including 5-10 plus students every year in wheelchairs, that would be able to participate in this net sport, as well as the other 21 percent of students, that would benefit from this sport that can be used for adaptive P.E. Let's put down the phones and get our students moving! Volleyball is a great sport for all to enjoy!
