This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

These volleyballs and the net will continue to build the active and engaging setting that I aim for in my PE class. The field is a space where my students truly develop. We play games, they improve their coordination and teamwork, and they learn the value of sportsmanship and physical fitness! Each piece of equipment that we introduce is met with enthusiasm, and my students appreciate the chance to learn new skills and participate in team sports.

This volleyball equipment has been chosen with my students' interests and developmental needs in mind – I've seen their interest in volleyball during introductory activities and have heard their excitement about playing more.

Students will have the opportunity to learn fundamental volleyball skills, which will help them to enjoy being active and enhance their motor skills. They will also be able to participate in cooperative games that emphasize communication and strategic thinking. The chance to play team sports like volleyball is a great way to encourage a healthy and active lifestyle, and this new equipment will further enrich my students' experiences with physical education. Their eagerness to participate in PE is already evident, and this addition will only strengthen their engagement and love for physical activity.
