My Project

I love how my students show up every day with open hearts and eager minds, ready to learn and grow—even when the world doesn’t always make space for their stories. They ask deep questions, speak their truths, and care deeply about fairness. They inspire me to teach with purpose.

This Racial Justice & Representation project will help them learn by giving them access to stories and materials that reflect who they are and who they can become.

It will help them see themselves as leaders, changemakers, and valued members of society. Through books, images, and lessons that center justice and equity, they will build critical thinking skills, empathy, and a stronger sense of identity. This project isn’t just about education—it’s about affirmation, empowerment, and preparing students to shape a better world.
