it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
In today’s classroom, technology plays a vital role in helping young learners build foundational skills in reading, writing, and communication. With a classroom set of headphones equipped with microphones, my second-grade students will be able to engage more deeply with interactive programs such as reading apps, phonics games, and language development tools. These resources are essential for supporting their diverse learning needs, especially for students who benefit from audio reinforcement or are learning English as a second language.
Having individual headphones with microphones will also create a quieter, more focused learning environment.
Students will be able to listen and respond to digital lessons without distractions, promoting better concentration and retention. The microphones allow for participation in voice-to-text activities, fluency practice, and interactive assessments, giving every child the opportunity to express themselves confidently and build their communication skills in a safe and structured way.
Additionally, these tools will help me provide more personalized instruction. While some students work independently on targeted activities, I can work in small groups or one-on-one with others. This flexibility supports differentiated instruction and allows me to meet my students where they are in their learning journey.
