Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Vocabulary is vital to accessing complex text. Without adequate vocabulary knowledge, students cannot comprehend what they are reading. They may not be able to actually read what they are "reading". The resources that I am requesting will help my students gain vocabulary skills and access complex text.
Teacher-created resources on Teachers Pay Teachers will help my students gain critical vocabulary knowledge.
These resources will include games, worksheets, digital practice opportunities, and teacher modeling resources that will help my students learn the words they need to understand any appropriate text.
